The nation of more than 11 million people had grown increasingly unstable and disgruntled under Mo&iuml;se&#39;s rule.&nbsp;Its economic, political and social woes have deepened, with gang violence spiking heavily in the capital of Port-au-Prince, inflation spiraling and food and fuel becoming scarcer at times in a country where 60% of the population makes less than $2 a day. These troubles come as Haiti still tries to recover from the devastating 2010 earthquake and Hurricane Matthew that struck in 2016.

&nbsp; &nbsp; In March 2019, Mozambican&nbsp;professor Emilia Nhalevilo&nbsp;took office as dean of the recently-created Pungue University, becoming thus the first woman to ever lead a public university in the African country. She was nominated&nbsp;by President Filipe Nyusi, but the decision about the recently-created universities was announced by the Council of Ministers on January 29. Nhalevilo will remain in office, in principle, for a period of four years.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Born in Nampula, the most populous province in Mozambique, Nhalevilo holds a doctorate and master&#39;s degree in education from the University of Perth, Australia, and a bachelor&#39;s degree in science education from Pedagogical University&nbsp;(UP). From 2005 to 2007, she worked as Professor at Curtin University of Technology, in Australia. In 2008, Nhalevilo became the head of the chemistry department at UP, and then took office as deputy director of the Center for Mozambican Studies and Ethnoscience, a research center at the same institution.

&nbsp; &nbsp; In 2017, she was a fellow with the Fullbright Visiting Scholar Program&nbsp;at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development of New York University, in the United States. &nbsp; &nbsp; Football players of Catalonia&#39;s Terassa Football Club&nbsp;were expelled from competition after they&#39;ve proffered sexist&nbsp;insults at the female club mates during a match, sparking a broader discussion on social media about sexism in male-dominated sports.

&nbsp; &nbsp; On February 2, the Terrassa veterans, who play in the Spanish league&#39;s third division, had a match scheduled to kick off immediately after another match between the club&#39;s second division female team and rival Villadecals. As the male players warmed up, a female footballer suffered a severe injury on the field, which delayed the end of the match.

&nbsp; &nbsp; The veterans turned restless and began demanding the women&#39;s match to be concluded, while also insulting the players. According to the referee&#39;s minutes, the veteran players yelled: &ldquo;get off the field, it&#39;s time for us to play. This game should have been suspended. You shouldn&#39;t [even] be playing.&rdquo;

&nbsp; &nbsp; The female players rebuked them and were quickly joined by some members of the public. Then the men&#39;s insults turned sexist: &ldquo;Go to the kitchen, go wash dishes, you pieces of shit. You&#39;re sluts,&rdquo; were some of the expletives cited in the minutes of the match.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Fearing further escalation, the referee suspended the women&#39;s match, to which the female athletes from both teams responded by sitting at the center of the field&nbsp;to impede the men&#39;s match from taking place.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Football players of Catalonia&#39;s Terrassa Football Club&nbsp;were expelled&nbsp;from competition after they&nbsp;proffered sexist&nbsp;insults at the female club mates during a match, sparking a broader discussion on social media about sexism in male-dominated sports.

&nbsp; &nbsp; On February 2, the Terrassa veterans,&nbsp;who play in the Spanish league&#39;s third division, had a match scheduled to kick off immediately after another match between the club&#39;s second division female team and rival Villadecals. As the male players warmed up, a female footballer suffered a severe injury on the field, which delayed the end of the match.

&nbsp; &nbsp; The veterans turned restless and began demanding the women&#39;s match to be concluded, while also insulting the players.&nbsp;According to the referee&#39;s minutes, the veteran players yelled,&nbsp;&ldquo;Get off the field!&nbsp;It&#39;s time for us to play. This game should have been suspended. You shouldn&#39;t even&nbsp;be playing.&rdquo;

&nbsp; &nbsp; The female players rebuked them and were quickly joined by some members of the public. Then the men&#39;s insults turned sexist: &ldquo;Go to the kitchen, go wash dishes, you pieces of shit. You&#39;re sluts,&rdquo; were some of the expletives cited in the minutes of the match.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Fearing a further escalation, the referee suspended the women&#39;s match, to which the female athletes from both teams responded by sitting at the center of the field&nbsp;to impede the men&#39;s match from taking place.
